Comparison between the patterns of old transportation and new transportation.

The main differences between the patterns of old transportation in 1840 and the transportation in the present day in 2007 is that in 1840 people had to live in or near town so that they could walk to there jobs and to where they would have brought food and other items. But now in 2007 you can live a long was away from town and public transportation and still go into Wellington for work each day. This means that people in 2007 live in the suburbs alike in 1840 where everyone lived in town or very near to public transportation.
